Jim's impressions and experiences while on a vacation in Calico Rock Arkansas.
This song was recorded on a snow night when the Friday night jam was called off for inclement weather. Jim expressed a need to "get out" anyway, so I told him to grab his acoustic and come on over for a strum and an edit or two.
Low and behold, while taking a fresh air break out back, Bob Jr,  whom is a regular guest and excellent piano player, came walking through the gate and we had a perfect opportunity to record this song that Jim had wrote years ago on his acoustic.

After years of extensive research, we as a collective, decided it was time to set the record straight in regards to King Kong. The original prophetic vision of a giant ape on the Empire State Building was true, but the preceding story was just “made up”. I know it's shock to hear this, but it's true. Listen to the song lyrics for the real story.   Thanks to Muddy Mike Smith for his usual poetic vocal and bass prowess, and guest star Tasty Jay for his lead guitar work. Trapped in Three Dimensions

I have guests over most Friday nights since 2013. The core of which started as myself (guitar), Karl S (keys) and Billy Schep (drums). We went under the name “Garage Underground” as the studio is under the garage. We have had various guest of the years that “sit in”, those that are advanced players, and those more intermediate. We never really care where the guests land in that ability scale as we are primarily here to socialize and share the evening.  
Karl S. past March of 2021, so the “Core” shrunk to Bill and I. AKA “Two Men and a Machine”
“Garage Underground” was no more. We moved on to “The mighty Mancave Art Players” since that time when we are joined by regulars and special guests.
Jim W. has been contributing guitar/song writing since 2018 +/-, and Diane has joined on bass since 2020 as well.  They both contribute on an every other weekend average. 
No one need worry about not showing up, as It's always been a no pressure here mantra. We have all been in numerous bands over the years that can suck the fun out of playing under such circumstances of a working band.
