Have you ever gazed upon an old, abandoned house, getting close to falling over, and wondered what that house would say if it could talk? Have you ever wondered what dreams and memories that old house might harbor? So have I. That's why I wrote this song.

A song for my granddaughter, Emery, who was born with a heart condition, had her heart operated on at 3 days old, her vocal chords nicked, and then had to have a tracheostomy for almost two years because of that doctor's careless mistake. But if this hadn't happened, we would never have had those 38 days in Primary Children's hospital with her and would never have developed this depth of feelings we have for this little angel. So praise God and a doctor's mistake.
