Have you ever gazed upon an old, abandoned house, getting close to falling over, and wondered what that house would say if it could talk? Have you ever wondered what dreams and memories that old house might harbor? So have I. That's why I wrote this song.

This song was written off the inspiration of a dream where I woke up hearing the chorus, having no idea what the song would be about other than what a strange, sweet dream had given me--he memory of an uncle I dearly loved in that dream. Uncle Ever is not a real person.
