"It’s an album that covers different decades in music in which I lay down my most personal style always trying to respect the original artist and composer’s work.

The idea behind it was to be able to reach all sorts of audiences by doing covers of very well known songs that, in a way or another, had a footprint in the history of music. We all know “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley for example.

We selected a few artists who are representative of each decade  to capture different styles and vibes. I really enjoyed covering all these songs and give them my own twist regardless of the genre or artist. Some draw more attention than others though as the difference with the original version is quite drastic. That’s the case with “Bad Romance” from Lady Gaga. These were the most fun but most risky to cover as well."

In this cover, Veil manages to get the song to sound closer, to be more intimate and more personal, something that has now become her trade mark sound.
