George Zeo and Family derive from Bucks County in Pennsylvania. As children we would perform with our parents at churches and regional youth events. We grew up in a musical family. Our father would sing and sometimes play the spoons or harmonica, Mom would sing and play accordion, and Phillip and I would sing and play guitar. We grew up with music in the house, in the car, and in our hearts. 

The Zeo family tradition continues as the family gathers for Sunday dinner at “grandmom” Zeo's house and holiday events. Everyone brings their instruments and once again the house is filled music.

After many years of playing in separate bands and solo performances, and at the urging of our father, friends, and my wife, my brother Phillip and I came together to form the Zeo Family Band.

Got To Get To Memphis is a bluesy country song about a guy who gets a call from his girl in Memphis telling him that she loves him and made a mistake leaving. He realizes that he loves her too and has to get to Memphis if it's the last thing he can do.

George Zeo and Family: Melding Rock, Blues, Gospel and Roots creating the jagged edge of Americana.

Our songwriting melds together a blend of Roots Music, Oldtime Gospel, Blues, Rock and Roll, and  what has been referred to as "Outlaw Country", resulting in a celebration of life and living.

Since 2015 we have been writing and performing music that reflects the everyday experiences of life, love, passion, loss, hope, longing, good times, bad times and existential questioning.
