Gabriel Posted his song Bird in parts to be remixed as a contest. I used the parts and created a 112 bpm remix of the original which is 90 bpm and a 'Jack Johnson' kind of track. I entered the contest but obviously didn't win. But this track came out. Creating remixes is a great way to be working on electronic music since the base is already there.

We're working on a tiny slow down festival with seating, beach vibes, great food and sunset emotions but in Town. It needed a bit of a tune to it. This came to mind. The main vocal comes from Bloom, a synth that produces vocal sounds in a bit of irregular and random way. I kind of like how that works. I love synths anyway, since they can be so unpredictable. Which is why we need sometimes to break the every day routines. I guess dance music has always had that function. so, chill with this one

Ernest Bonzet started out in 1985 with DJ'ing. During his studies he got involved in the Dutch dance scene in the early nineties through to the 20ies. Started producing and released on Soma (103) and did a remix that ended on Cafe del Mar chill out 3 and several other compilations. Building up his own media company over the years, his electronic music passion got him back to the DAW.
