Dreck is an experimental sound project and an attempt to break the hold that music has on me, i was never much good at it anyway. I use feedback loops, tuned noise, pedal chains, synths and huge amounts of reverb, occasional conventional instruments cunningly disguised as vast alien insects to try and create what i hear in my head. I learned by watching serious noise artists performing but since the gigs were pretty dark i had to guess most of it. My profound thanks goes to Michal from Chain Reaction who got me involved in the first place and to the artists who encouraged me and explained why and how, HATI, Gen 26, Bipolar Joe, Luxury Mollusc, DAO, Hoarfrost, Wereju, Maximum Terrorum, K Project and all the rest. Too awesome to be human, the lot of you.
