Maples Treasure

Sarah Stevens is a fingerstyle guitarist known for her emotive performances and soulful melodies. Inspired by a diverse range of musicians including Tommy Emmanuel, Michael Fix, and many others.

In 2011, Sarah attended guitar evenings hosted by Wim den Herder, where she was introduced to the fingerstyle technique by notable artists such as Gareth Pearson, Harry Sacksioni, Adam Rafferty, Richard Smith, and Michael Fix. Their teachings inspired Sarah to explore new avenues in her playing.

Fuelled by her passion for music, Sarah continued to refine her skills, culminating in a memorable performance as a supporting act for Tommy Emmanuel in 2014. This experience marked a significant milestone in her career and solidified her place in the fingerstyle guitar community.

As her musical journey progressed, Sarah collaborated with fellow musicians, exploring new sounds and pushing the boundaries of her creativity. Beyond her music, Sarah is an advocate for transgender visibility in the industry, using her platform to inspire others to embrace authenticity.
