Leon Russell was born in 1984 in the city of Mumbai. Music runs in his blood, as from a very young age he was treated to the likes of classic rock legends such as Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, Scorpions, Queen, CCR and The Steve Miller Band. The real reason for his passion for music was his father. He got his first dose of electronic dance music in the year 1998, when techno parties were a rage in Mumbai. He started playing music at an early age of fifteen.

Leon’s alter ego also known as Leonoel which is  a project that started in 2018 and focuses more on the darker melodic side of music. His hypnotic twilight twisted sounds within the Psytech and Techno realm make him a force to reckon with. LeonoeL is also a Palindrome and keeping that in mind he also has a Lighter Funky Disco Groovy and Melodic/Progressive side too. you never know what to expect
