Mozambican-born producer and DJ 40D makes his Sondela Recordings debut with ‘Bohemian Opera’ a bold three-track release that blends emotional depth with experimental edge. Rooted in personal reflection and artistic risk, each track explores a different facet of feeling and storytelling through rich textures and layered soundscapes. No stranger to the scene, 40D’s recent collaborative releases ‘Meteor’ (Kazukuta Records) and ‘Mars’ (Madorasindahouse) with Conde have been making waves over the last year, alongside standout remixes of Homeboyz’s ’Ven Pa Ka’ and Anthony P.’s ‘Tsunyu’.

'So Happy, I Forget How Pain Feels’ opens the release with romantic vulnerability. Written from personal experience, the track reflects emotional acceptance through a heartfelt topline and moving arrangement.  

'Dire Straits’ shifts the mood, led by a gritty, reworked bassline that evolves into a striking lead—rich in texture, provocative, and packed with raw, dancefloor-driven energy.  

Bohemian Opera is a powerful expression of emotion through rhythm—an invitation to move, reflect, and feel deeply.

SX2 is the project of Irish brothers Clive & Scott Sullivan. Formed in 2017 and signing to Moscoman's Disco Halal in 2020, the duo has steadily been making a name for themselves, with tracks like "Leave Them All Behind", "Steady Up", "Miracle Mayhem" and "Dreamer" gaining big support from heavy hitters like Adam Port, John Digweed, and Maxi Meraki just to name a few. 

Their DJ sets and productions blend genres, drawing groove, emotion, and everything else in between, not conforming to any style, sound, or trend. This DIY style of doing things leaves a fresh approach for both themselves and the listener. 

2025 sees the brothers make big waves in their homeland continuing to breakout on to the Irish festival circuit aswell as a monthly residency in their hometown Waterford. With more singles planned as part of their "Soul For Sale" project on Disco Halal, and currently writing an album, the future is looking exciting for the pair!
