"As with everyone, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia has deeply disturbed me. So I took this opportunity provided by 6AM to voice my heart about how I feel. 

And although I don’t often play rock music in my DJ sets, as a 90s kid I was exposed to so much incredible music that seemed to pour from that generation and it all stays with me to this day and sometimes it all just comes out.

When I was 14 years old I used to go to Grunge and Indie nights at the Camden Palace (I grew up in North London), of course that thread of music soon got taken over by the likes of Prodigy and Orbital and ultimately rave. 

In my sets and my productions the grunge influence is there, hidden in the distortion. This one is for Ukraine, whom I love."

Rabbits Eat Lettuce is an Australian festival that originated in the Rainbow Region of NSW until it was pushed out to Queensland due to unreasonable NSW police requirements. It is one of the funkiest small festivals in Australia (5k-7k) It's held over Easter and the energy is just cracking with the full moon. It has an excellent selection of House, Techno, Bass, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and many more diverse genres of electronic music. If you get the chance ti attend this festival take it as it is life changing... In fact I met my Fiance there in 2019! It is full of open hearted ravers / doofers and you very well might meet your next best friend or lover there!

@parraaline vem ao longo dos anos se descobrindo como artista, focando na
música eletrônica, vindo a descobrir sua verdadeira paixão de se tornar uma DJ e
produtora musical. Atua na profissão desde 2018. Tocando nas batidas eletrônicas
produzidas pelos CDJs e sintetizadores, começou a conhecer mais a mecânica,
vindo a se aprofundar no techno.
Já tocou em festas no Rio Grande do Sul como: Forest Wave Label, Boske,
Detroit, River Club e Frequency Label. Participou de alguns podcast como:
Wavecast (live), #006 da Elevate Station, 74 da Beat On Me e In The Machine 007
da Habitantz Music. Também tocou na rádio espanhola, Mambo Rádio, a convite da
Deeper Sounds.
Participou da primeira turma do Warung School, modalidade de curso onde
diversos artistas davam aulas para DJs e lançavam desafios. A partir da
masterclass ministrada por uma de suas inspirações, Eli Iwasa, criou um set para o
DJ Contest que tinha como prêmio comandar um Warm Up no templo. Com o maior
prazer, ficou no TOP 10, sendo muito grata pelo reconhecimento. Em parceria com
o River Club e a Camarão Stories, gravou um set para o Warung School Showcase,
transmitido no YouTube do Warung Beach Club

Brenda is a Chicago-based techno artist. She is A&R for Format Recordings, resident DJ, and co-producer of their weekly techno podcast series, Format.FM, and joint curator of the Format underground warehouse event series. 

A classically trained pianist and saxophonist, her expansive understanding of structure and rhythm allow her to draw inspiration from all kinds of music, from soulful jazz to dark, gritty drum and bass. Brenda’s talent for laying down everything from pulsing ethereal beats to jackin’ stompers demonstrates her versatility all while maintaining consistent themes of darker, harder techno.
