Lil’Face is a young entrepreneur, up-and-coming music artist/rapper, songwriter, and co-owner and founder of Frontline Music Group (FMG). He also is 1 part to the 3 man rap group 456. He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 28th, 1987. Not too far into his childhood, he and his mother moved to Portland, Oregon. As a child Lil’Face modeled and acted for ABC Kids N Teens. This allowed him to get comfortable in front of the camera at an early age. Lil'Face then went on to graduate from Benson Polytechnic High School in 2005. In 2007 his first mix tape-“Doin Tha Most” was released.

From a very young age music has been one of his passions, always being found with his CD Walkman, singing and rapping along with his favorite artists. He recalls writing his first verse in outdoor school for a talent show. He describes that first experience as “everything” to him. Saying he "liked" music was an understatement, he lived for music. Lil'Face listened to all types of music, but R&B and Rap were the genres’ he listened to most often. He has been inspired by artist like E-40, Nipsey Hussle, and Tupac Shakur. 

Aside from other artist, Lil’Face is greatly inspired by his own life experiences, and the experiences of those around him. Describing himself as a very versatile artist- he has his own style, making anything from “feel good party music, to inspiring motivational music” for his audience to listen too. West Coast, G-Funk, and Hyphy Music are the types of music that motivate him to write. Going beyond experiences and lyrics he is highly selective with the beats he chooses to use. Lil’Face places a high emphasis on good beat production, saying good beats are “the fuel to his fire”. Beats are truly what inspires his musical flow. Lil'Face has always written all of his own music, and beyond that has also written some verses for others. Currently he is working on branching out to R&B, melody writing, and even singing.

Lil’Face has performed at many venues including The Roseland, The Avenue Lounge, and The Mt. Tabor Theater; opening for artists such as Twista, J-Diggs, and Keak Da Sneak. Additionally he was featured on J Diggs’ “All Gas” album in 2014, and LC Jetson’s “Northstar II” album in 2015. He has made songs with many other artist from the Portland area including Meezilini, Ace Dough, and Aaron O’Bryan Smith.

His highly anticipated first album- “Perfect Timing”, was released on Itunes March 1st, 2016. His next full album is scheduled to be released in early 2017. Meanwhile 456 has an album release date set for September 2016, and Lil'Face plans on releasing his own EP- "Roger Ratchett" during October of this year.
