Born in Savannah, Georgia’s tough and unforgiving streets, Michael Pruitt used music early in life to escape the world outside his windows. 

After moving to Florida without a place to work, he bought a studio to begin making beats. 

Michael began showing his talents not only in beat making, but in transforming his ideas into the dark gutta music that told stories of his life in the streets. 

He began working with a local Savannah artist, rapping and producing beats, that eventually branched off into the start of his brand Tha Gutta Entertainment. 

Before he was able to take off, the violent city threw Michael, now known as Savannah Blak, into trials and tribulations which forced him to put his music in the back seat for a while. 

After finally pushing the streets away, Blak got back into his music. He became focused on becoming a top producer in the game. 

After dropping a couple mix tapes, S**t F**ked up, S**t Real, S**t Still F**cked up, he pushed Tha Gutta label into the music scene with his dark productions that feel like they came from the gutta that he’s known his whole life.
