To celebrate the fifth anniversary of our label, we present Various Aliens / Fifth Contact, a unique compilation that brings together collaborations between the founder and 15 artists from different corners of the world.

The name plays with the idea of “VA” (Various Artists), transformed into “Various Aliens” as a metaphor for that creative diversity that seems to come from other dimensions.

Fifth Contact refers both to the number 5 of our anniversary and, at the same time, evokes the notion of an extraterrestrial encounter beyond imagination: a connection that transcends borders, styles, and languages—a cosmic meeting through music.

The result is a sonic journey of abstract textures, dark minimalism, and interplanetary energy that reflects the essence of the label and its global network of collaborators.

David Koch aka DeWalta is an artist ahead of his time. A trained musician in search of his sound through electronic music. Well known for his incredible records making him releasing his music on leading labels like Amphia, Cocoon, Half Baked or his own imprint Meander, also live acts like recently he did along his partner Mike Shannon for Boiler Room in Berlin to name a few and Dj sets everywhere you can think of.
I'm very proud to be able to have David inside this expanding and alive music family, called Acmé.
Here you can listen the extraordinary remix he made for me that I was truly impressed after bar 1.

Podcast №8 for the Svyatki team was recorded by Matpri from St. Petersburg @prosaic_music. One and a half hours of microhouse sound. There were used: vinyl only, Technics  1210 mk II, Vestax PMC 06 Pro and Ortofon DJ mk I. Matpri has released dozens of quality works as part of vinyl and digital releases on labels such as Hoarder, Slowdymowdy, Heisenberg, Kina, Deep in You, Wellness, etc. His own label Prosaic music, which released the artist's first release in 2018, is also well-known.

Collective CMOK, from a small town Crvenka in Vojvodina, has highlighted this part of Europe in bold in the catalog of attractive underground destinations of dance electronics by organizing unique events at the local resort "Potok".
In 2017, they launched a record label with the same name.
