a downtempo chugger inspired by growing up alongside the swamp in south-east naarm. this song to me is the soundtrack of coming home from a late night surrounded by friends watching the sun come up as the evening ends.

my release genres are all over the place, which can make it hard to build an audience, however, every track i make isn't being made with the intent to appeal to labels or to bite someone's sound with loops downloaded from perfectly curated sample packs on splice. every sound in this song (bar the gorgeous magpie sample) was created by myself painstakingly.

i appreciate any listen and for all those that see the vision in crafting your own sound in an increasingly oversaturated and reductionistic electronic landscape.

NURAJ, formerly known as Anthony, is a young sound engineer based in Berlin.
His journey into music began in childhood, deeply influenced by his mother, a piano teacher, who introduced him to various instruments at an early age.

As a producer, NURAJ explores a broad sonic spectrum, ranging from high-energy Speedhouse to raw, stripped-down hypnotic grooves. Always experimenting, he challenges genre conventions and pushes boundaries with his unique style.

His first appearances were at underground bunker raves in Berlin during the pandemic, where he honed his craft and connected with the vibrant scene. His first official club gig was in his hometown of Bielefeld at the renowned Sam’s Club. Since then, he has played internationally in cities such as Berlin, Munich, and Maastricht, captivating audiences with his innovative sound.

In addition to performing, NURAJ is dedicated to giving back to the culture by hosting a podcast series. The show features conversations with artists and collectives from the contemporary club scene, offering insights and celebrating the community that fuels the music he loves.
