Cengiz is a London based dj and producer who is a proud member of the Selectors Assemble collective.

Having established a name for himself releasing music on the CoOp Presents label - brainchild of the legendary IG Culture and Alex Phountzi, Cengiz now releases a collection of his previously unreleased early works.

The first volume of the series also includes a special remix from the one and only James Rudie (Selectors Assemble / Dance Regular).

Best known as one-half of soul duo Myron & E, Newark native Eric ‘E’ Cooke aka Eric Boss or E Da Boss is the definition of a multifaceted artist. It began with DJing and a love of hip-hop, which eventually turned into producing, and ultimately brought him to singing and songwriting.

Eric got his first taste of music by playing records during family card games and fish frys. As a teen, he began collecting records of his own and DJing, hanging out at the Music Factory and Rock and Soul in New York City. After relocating to southwest Virginia, he graduated high school and began spinning at parties, which allowed him to invest in an Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard, two Technics turntables and an eight-track recorder. He later moved to San Francisco where he met Myron Glasper while on the road with the Bay Area’s Blackalicious, and shortly after Eric released an independent record as a producer under the name E da Boss.

While touring in Finland for his solo project, Eric connected with producer Didier Selin of The Soul Investigators, whose work with singer Nicole Willis helped define them as one of Europe’s foremost retro-soul bands. Back in the U.S., Eric recruited Myron as a singing and songwriting partner, and with the production of Didier behind them Myron& E was born. Together they released a string of successful 45 singles on The Investigators‘ label Timmion Records, went on to release their debut album “Broadway” on renowned label Stones Throw in 2013, collaborated on a 45 with Russian funk band The Soul Surfers on Ubiquity Records, and toured the world.

In the meantime Eric continued to spread the jam of his talent far and wide; he contributed vocals to a track for UK sensation The Gene Dudley Group‘s sophomore album on Wah Wah 45s, released material under the bandname Lucid Paradise alongside Ishtar , founded and is one half of electro-boogie duo The Pendletons, duetted with Gizelle Smith on two tracks from her solo album “Ruthless Day” on Jalapeno and, more recently, began a prolific collaboration with Bjoern Wagner and Steffen Wagner (The Mighty Mocambos / Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band).

Boston-based singer, songwriter, and DJ, @DJSaucyLady graces the first release from "Love Touch Family": A new concept which features our extended family of established artists affiliated with other respected labels around the globe.

Noe Carmichael aka Saucy Lady is a mainstay in the modern disco and boogie scene with over 60 singles released on labels such as Star Creature Universal Vibrations, Midnight Riot and Soul Clap Records.

It's fitting that she is first up to bat in the Love Touch Family 7" series as the label continues to showcase female artists. This release however, marks the first non-Canadian vocalist in our discography!

"I Got Your Back" (produced by Gil Masuda) is an electro-boogie encounter that will rock the solar system. On the flipside, the U-Key Re-Touch (produced by Yuki "U-Key" Kanesaka aka Monolog) is a hella funky remix that'll give you that "stank face" for days. But ultimately, it' s Noe's powerful vocals and touching lyrics that make this record a Love Touch must-have.
