Goddamn, "jaded" doesn't really cover it. Never seen this side of Swaim before.

WHAT?! THAT was the moment you really liked? Holy shit, we were laughing in the theater.

This whole movie seemed like Rian really wanted to explore a concept but kept chickening out at the last second.

But Awakens just takes plot holes and says, "This is important! Solve it on reddit!"

I HATED this joke. I mean, I laughed because it was totally unexpected, but it completely took me out of the movie experience.

Yeah! Same here! It felt as if it was a live-action Robot Chicken Star Wars movie!

I don't dispute yourlist of gripes here, but at the same time I really loved the experience. It was fun to watch, even as a pedantic nerd, and I will see it again. I think it's a great jump-off point to write a new saga, with the old ghosts all gone now (RIP Carrie Fisher).

Screw off Swaim - Pacific Rim is the greatest film ever made by Earthlings. ;P
