Claude  Debussy  wanted  to  be  Eric  Satie,  and  Eric  Satie  wanted  to be  Claude  Debussy.
Anyway - Debussy - the  pioneer  who  worked  in Indonesian Gamelan compositions  into  his  own  work or music  of  the  Orient composed  the  Arabesques at  a  time  where the  Orient  had  been  very  influential , culturally  to  Europe.

Bastian Lee Jones  -  with  his  cosmopolitan heritage - loves  to  play  Debussy.  That is  his version of  Arabesque  no.1 -
a  take  which will be included  in his  piano solo classic  album  called: CLIMAXUAL  INTIMACIES

Story
🎵 The Singing Mirror
High in the mountains of Arzulea, where the wind speaks in forgotten tongues and the trees whisper secrets of ages past, there existed a relic that no wise man dared name without shuddering: the Singing Mirror.
It was no ordinary mirror. Its surface reflected not faces, but melodies. Whoever approached it did not see their image, but heard a unique song, composed instantly by the mirror's soul. Each note revealed a hidden truth: a buried memory, a lie told, a wish never confessed.

🌑 The Legend of Laira
Laira, a young troubadour from the underground city of Eltur, had heard of the mirror in her grandmother's songs, who said it was forged by the gods of sound and silence. It was said that the mirror sang only once per person, and that its song could heal or destroy.
Driven by a night vision in which her voice broke before a black moon, Laira set out on her journey. She climbed impossible cliffs, crossed rivers that sang in water dialects, and finally reached the mirror's sanctuary: a crystal cavern suspended in the air by tree roots that never touched the ground.

🎶 The Mirror's Song
As she drew closer, the mirror began to vibrate. It emitted not light, but chords. The melody that emerged was a sweet lament, as if the mirror were crying for her. In each measure, Laira heard fragments of her life: her mentor's betrayal, the love she never confessed to her friend Kael, and the fear that had made her flee her destiny as Keeper of the Echoes.
But then, the music changed. It became ascending, luminous, as if the mirror were showing her not only what had been, but what could be. In a final chord, the mirror sang its true name: “Laira of the Seven Timbres, Voice of Rebirth.”

🌠 The Awakening
As the song ended, the mirror shattered into a thousand fragments that floated like stars. Each one embedded itself in the air, forming a constellation that only the singers could see. Laira descended from the mountain with a new voice: one that could reveal truths through song, as the mirror did.

Thank you for watching my cover of Halsey's "Not Afraid Anymore" from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.  This song grabbed me immediately and as I was singing it for the first time I started to relate to these lyrics, but perhaps on a different level that Halsey had intended.  I realized this was so relevant to my life, and how I'd been feeling about my sexuality.  I've only dated one women in my life, but always had feelings and attraction for both women and men.  But it scares me, scares me to tell my close friends and family, and it the thought of announcing this to the world scares me too.  Will people take me seriously, laugh at me, talk about me behind my back, tell me it's just phase, or even worse say they are going to pray for me.   Well I can't hid forever.  I figured if I'm going to stop hiding, I'll do it my way -- via my art.  

I'm not afraid anymore.  

Further thoughts on bisexuality:  

A lot of people who grow up bisexual may not even realize they are such.  It might take 20 or 30 years or more of their life to even figure it out.  When you have feelings for both men and women its often easier to go for the heterosexual choice - the choice that won’t cause your family or friends to look down upon you, the choice you don’t have to explain to anyone, the choice that won’t get you stared at or gossiped about.  Man + Woman - it’s the easy choice to make.  One day though you’ll have a realization that you have never embraced the other side of your self.  The side that longs to be with someone of the same sex. This side of yourself that you’re afraid to express, that you’ve never explored.  When you finally go there you find a whole world of feelings and emotion that you’ve never experienced before.  But still you are scared, scared to really commit to someone of the same sex, scared of what people will think of you, especially since you’ve been in heterosexual relationships your whole life.  Everything is confusing, you don’t know what you want and what you don’t want.  In love with him but longing for her.  And you wonder, even if you do make the choice you’re so afraid of - will you ever be satisfied or will you always be longing for what you don’t have?
