‘Il Silenzio’ si immerge nei vicoli, nei colori e nelle contraddizioni di Napoli, grazie alla collaborazione con Simone Mono dei Riva Band, sì, il nome è un omaggio al mitico Gigi Riva.

E Napoli è anche il luogo in cui Alex ha girato il video della canzone, in pieno stile flâneur, girovagando per la città ma soprattutto tra la sua gente, le sue espressioni, la sua gestualità.

I toni sono melancolici e delicati, fra primi Perturbazione e Tiromancino, amalgamati da basi elettroniche vintage.

Napoli non per caso. Napoli la città nota anche per i “caffè sospesi”, per un brano che parla proprio di amicizie e rapporti sospesi, quelli che per un motivo o per l’altro si perdono per strada, a volte anche non intenzionalmente.

Vi è mai capitato di tradire qualcuno a cui eravate molto legati, o viceversa qualcuno che ha tradito la vostra fiducia? Vi è rimasto in mano un rapporto in “sospeso”, non risolto, incompleto, che in qualche modo vi fa soffrire e sentire più soli?

‘Il Silenzio’ parla proprio di questo: del vuoto che si è inserito in quello che era un rapporto che ci faceva sentire bene e che è svanito, ma lasciando nel finale un messaggio che racchiude la speranza di una riconciliazione:
