Welcome back to The Vizards, acclaimed winner of the 2020 award for Least Acclaimed Podcast! It's an honor and a pleasure and a legal venture and a childhood nightmare all wrapped up together — and we couldn't be happier or more grateful that you're here with us. We actually could but we're just warming up — it's only the first episode of the 4th season!

You’re officially off your parents’ healthcare plan, tossed out into the world of facts and their alternatives—unsheltered and dashed against the realities of possible war with Iran, inequalities in our food systems, rampant immigration issues, and the corporate co-opting of Pride Month. Maybe you don’t know what to think about these things—maybe none of us do. But the Vizards talked about it anyway. Ian gives a wonderful update on the Pioneer Valley Workers’ Center farm; Lindy heralds the importance of individual agency in response to climate change, inequality, and the political ineptitude of higher governmental echelons; and Ian celebrates the fluidity of gender and sexuality that make every month Pride Month. Episode 26: Talkin' 'Bout a Revolution

Welcome back to another Tuesday! Happy second day of 80-degree Autumn. After an impromptu hiatus (prompted, in reality, by the true *joy* of apartment hunting), Lindy and Ian are back with another installment of Vizards — following up on “Episode 36: But is it art?” 

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this episode — hopefully, you’ll listen and hear your response. If not, it was probably bad and we couldn’t use it. Only joking — we asked our friends and social media fans to define the difference between creativity and art, to speak to the intentionality behind artistic production, to aver whether said art is defined by the beholder or creator, and — in the end — whether art can be defined at all. 

What ensued was a truly spirited discussion over FaceTime, where Lindy read Ian all of the responses and Ian, in his most aggravatingly insightful way, circumnavigated all her arguments. Enjoy, and send us your input if you care to!
