Pokémon has always been one of my favorite brands, and, despite the criticism about the last installments, I feel their OSTs have been growing in quality a lot during recent years.
Here's Prof Sycamore's theme, a piece I love from the only mainline Pokémon game I've never played!

Celebrating the end of the Final Season's first half, here is the full chiptune remix of one of the most... I'd say *awkward* openings out there, even if it definitely grows on you after listening to it a couple times.
The song is actually really strange, the singer doesn't make any effort to stay in tune and I guess he does it on purpose; I tried to replicate this odd style by using some off-tune instruments, and this is clearly recognizable during the last chorus.

One of the several masterpieces from Nobuo Uematsu, a powerful and intriguing theme that was even improved in The Black Mages' version. And it's probably not even the best tune in FF7 (one-winged... cough cough... angel...)!

After a (quite long) holiday break, I decided to get back on stage with a celebration of the release of "3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon A Time", the final movie from the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy.
Pretty classic stuff, you know, but A Cruel Angel's Thesis is one of those songs that can't be missing in an otaku musician's CV!

Everhood was one of my favourite games this year: a very good plot, funny characters, quite a heavy moral burden on the player (but let's not spoil anything here...), and an absolute banger of an OST.
When the battle with the Shopkeeper (unexpectedly) started in my playthrough, I immediately knew I had to make a cover of its theme, therefore, here we are! This was definitely the hardest cover so far to put together, since there's no reference at all on the web and I had to find every single note, chord, drum hit by ear, but I'm very satisfied with the result.

I'll admit it: I've been on the lookout, waiting for this opening to be released, since the beginning of december. Not only I was eager to know how the final cliffhanger for the Final Season's first half would develop, but I'm also deeply in love with most of Attack On Titans' opening, and I hoped this would be the ultimate ending as well. I was not disappointed.

Bust-A-Move 4: Madame Luna's/Dreg's Theme [Chiptune Version]

"This song makes me feel patriotic for a country that doesn't even exist"
I feel this tune is one of the most powerful openings for an anime out there, and it was really funny covering it.
I plan on keep working on this song and publics the extended version too in the future, it has some nice variations and the keyboard solo really kicks ass.
In the meantime... SASAGEYO!
