“Megaprojects are by definition large-scale, high-tech and cost billions of dollars, whereas this is a collection of low-tech tracks made with cheap little drum machines and rejected old synths. I composed and mixed to the best of my ability and with hope they'll feel more 'mega' than they actually are. Of course, I've been inspired and fascinated by actual megaprojects: imposing, surreal engineering and architecture like giant hydroelectric dams, soaring bridges and exposed-concrete government buildings. This release includes homages to the incredible Manic 5 dam in Quebec as well as the demolished Orange Country Government Center (designed by Paul Rudolph) in upstate New York.”

The train was very busy and each seat in the carriage was taken. Walking along the platform he peered in through the dirty windows to catch a glimpse of the faces preparing to make their journey far, far away. The station echoed with the sound of a neverending tannoy which groaned and groaned with more promise and urgency with each horrible announcement. It was as if they liked to prepare you for the bitter goodbye long before you cast one solitary wave into the distance as the train whirred away. This was the way of the world. 

Lucky Charmz is set to release a new EP on Lehult, a widely supported label which is championing a new wave of talent and musicality. House is the agenda and this one is great.
