This 9-track album is a lyrical, internal battle between Jarad Carter and Tyler Higgins to find their individual purposes on this Earth. Fueled by overconfidence, Jarad Carter makes the first move towards success by analyzing the music scene and diving head first into the depths of creativity. Tyler sits back and watches as Jarad Carter paves the way. Jarad was convinced that staying high all the time would allow him to maximize his creative abilities. Instead, the constant highs prevented him from taking advice from Tyler, who created him in the first place. Jarad gets tied up in the ideas of fame, wealth, and being the greatest artist alive, when none of those things truly matter to Tyler. They take shots at each other on track 5 titled “On Trial w/ Me” where they go back and forth blaming each other for the lack of progression in terms of creating this album. Tyler thinks patience is the key to success while Jarad believes they should always be on go-mode, wasting no time on anything else. This stress built up and led Tyler to his deepest state of depression where he decides, with the help of his family and loved ones, to take a break from smoking and start incorporating healthy living habits into his schedule in order to reduce his depressive symptoms. This was the best decision that was made, sparking back the creative instincts while repairing the relationship between the two. They work together to create the final 4 tracks on the album, tying together themes of positivity, living at home, and learning from experience while giving each other credit for the progress they made. The outro track, “Project 19” beautifully wraps up the message of the album, letting everyone out there know that they have a place on this Earth, no matter how they think about themselves.
