New Coaches - .01 Edward's Express (OST)

Four years ago (circa early 2018), I recorded narration for this project, at the time when I was recording dialogue for my VCI recreated promo (which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIfsHHoWM_0). As explained in that video's description, I was at college and managed to borrow their microphone equipment.  I will say, having listened to it with fresh ears, it was darn good!  

Originally, JATE was going to be a video on my channel but I found I was so slow in the recordings that it would require an awful lot of editing to fit me into the existing episode. Then, life happened; other projects - new, exciting and more fun to edit - took my attention away from this. I didn't know if I could ever release it but then, whilst self-isolating, I found that the files (still on my hard drive)could be moulded into a short audio story. And the fun part was that I didn't have to take it *so seriously* or *try to impress anyone* as 2018 me used to think. 

AND before you ask, yes James's voice is... ugh.  The whole narration was recorded from (mostly) memory. Not a good plan.  And I thought it would be fun at the time to copy Liverpudlian James but I suck at it so I ended up changing (briefly???) to Wickham James where I feel most comfortable.  I'm pleased I got better and more relaxed when recording lines. But hearing my younger self back has been quite cool and, most of all, it's been nice just tick it off the List of Forgotten Projects and to do something fun with this.  Enjoy!

I've really been neglecting the second season's score, haven't I? 

Thought I'd try this one out, as it's my favorite version of the character's theme. It sounds so cheerful and prideful, and it makes me wanna waltz. Anyways, here's Duck's theme, my first publicly shared S2 recreation. Enjoy! 

Arranged in Acoustica Mixcraft 7 using emulations of the Roland Jupiter-6 and a Linn LM-1 VST and sample pack. Original Theme Composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell.

Duck the Great Western Engine's Theme - Season 2

With the use of some instruments sent to me kindly by Carson, i decided to compose this cuz i always felt Duck needed a S6 theme. 

It was really fun making this, and i love the result. It's a bit short so i might exctend it at some point. Let me know what you think;)
