If you had to describe it -   alternative country soul-   Rhythm section features the late great Ted McKenna on drums & Rezillos bassist Chris Agnew,  Lord McDowall's guitar earthy as usual.   Fays lyrics are challenging and need some working out - something to do with babies,  homelessness & entrapment.  A remixed/reworked version of this track will feature  on the Countess of Fife's upcoming album

One of The Countess of Fife's smoother tracks - a nice introduction to their oeuvre and a starting point for their edgier tracks .  The lyrics are about resisting having an identity imposed on you especially as a woman.  It's also about preconceptions imposed from idealised notions of yesteryear.   Fay wrote the lyrics after a disconcerting interaction with long time punk fans at a Festival she was playing at ya ya ya!
