Still Here

Each track is a 100% analog, single-take, live improvisation using modular synthesis, analog sequencers, tape delays, and a few polyphonic synths. No overdubs, except the vocals on Ganymede. Each track is named for one of Jupiter's moons (partly because I was using Moon sequencers and a Roland Jupiter 8).

In November 2019, I shot some footage of early-winter snow. Since then, I had been looking for an excuse, for some time to write new ambient music, and my Covid-19 quarantine supplied that in spades! Ambient Flakes is dedicated to all the healthcare workers of the world - they are the best of what humanity can be.
