Juno Award-winning, 4 time Juno nominated singer, songwriter and motivational speaker Kellylee Evans is a high-octane, chameleon-like performer whose natural charm and improvisational vocal style embodies jazz, soul, pop, and hip-hop. She has toured extensively throughout the world and opened up for artists as varied as John Legend, Tony Bennett, Willie Nelson and Erykah Badu captivating audiences along the way. She has been signed to Universal Music and today releases music on her own label, Enliven Media. 
  
Kellylee released two albums in 2024. Her EP, Show Love, offers a fresh and innovative approach that establishes new sonic terrain built on the foundation of familiar sounds and styles from her six previous studio projects.  Her full-length album, Winter Song, dedicated to the sounds of the holiday season, was nominated for a 2025 Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.

Internationally renowned Canadian cellist and composer Raphael Weinroth-Browne has been celebrated for his emotive and virtuosic playing both on stage and in the studio. Combining a passion for metal, Middle Eastern music, and improvisation, he has developed a creative signature that defies traditional expectations of how the cello should sound. 
  
He has played on Juno award-winning albums, appeared on major film and tv soundtracks such as Mayor of Kingstown, Special Ops: Lioness, and Landman, and made viral YouTube music videos. He has toured the world with the Norwegian progressive rock band Leprous and performed at Hellfest, the world’s biggest metal festival. 
  
He is currently touring Europe with the esteemed James Wilton Dance company, performing an original score entitled BACH Reimagined, and will release the long-awaited follow up to Worlds Within in fall 2025.

Le violoncelliste et compositeur canadien de renommée internationale Raphael Weinroth-Browne a été reconnu pour ses performances émotionnelles et virtuoses tant sur scène qu’en studio. Combinant une passion pour le métal, la musique du Moyen-Orient et l’improvisation, il a développé une signature créative qui défie les attentes traditionnelles du son du violoncelle. 
  
Il a joué sur des albums primés aux prix Juno, est apparu sur d’importantes bandes sonores de films et de télévisions comme Mayor of Kingstown, Special Ops: Lioness, and Landman, et a réalisé des vidéoclips viraux sur YouTube. Il a fait une tournée mondiale avec le groupe norvégien de rock progressif Leprous et s’est produit au Hellfest, le plus grand festival de métal au monde.

It was late 2015 when Brazil's Level 2 and DJ Chap lit the fuse and sparked off the Alibi team-up. Individually, they were already well-established, but this move would take the levels even higher. Smashing into our consciousness with a huge set at SUNANDBASS in 2016, the new duo quickly built a reputation for being prime exponents of the future sound of Brazil. As testified to, if proof were needed, by them featuring on Hospital's 'Future Sound of Brazil EP' and contributing some of the stand out cuts on the recent 'Viva Brazil' album presented by DJ Patife. With a series of huge releases and download chart-topping success under their belt, including colabs with Command Strange and Disaszt, their 'Inception EP' comes loaded with anticipation.

Now, we've already seen these producers display multiple facets to their drum & bass. Influences of tech, liquid, jump-up, and more have peppered their output like 'Aftermath' and 'The Hornet EP'. So, of course, Alibi have taken the opportunity afforded by this five-track release to stretch out across sub-genre divisions once again.

As tension is ramped up from the stripped-back bass-weighted 'Knockout', through to the tech paranoia of 'Inception', you might imagine you know where this EP's going to take you. Then 'Greenline 02' comes along to wrong-foot you with with its dubby, subby tints melting into euphoric chords. 'Reizenstein' adds another hint of darkness, with vibes as shadow-shrouded as the meaning of the title. But then there's the switch-up of 'Morning Glory', an emotive fluid-soul roller which has that summer-night feeling encoded deep in its DNA.

Having been instrumental in bringing the D&B of Brazil to the world in the first place, the V Recordings camp is now intimately associated with its next stage of evolution. You see, with more styles and influences in the melting pot, the architecture is developing. And, globally-influenced but SÃ£o Paulo-rooted, Alibi's 'Inception EP' lays out the blueprint.
