I propose that to hear something is to encounter it physically. How Do You Here Me? explores the illusory potential of sound and offers a felt sense of movement using only auditory cues. For 50 minutes the listener is situated within a new and changing sonic environment where they are invited to contemplate the perceptual realm. Using techniques borrowed from ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), as well as the doppler effect, and convolution resonance this auditory world reanimates the physical presence of bodies and rematerializes place. 

Anthrophonic sound installation is the vehicle through which I investigate the possibility of perceptual movement reenactment through sound. Testing the specificity in recording and reproducing these aesthetic movement interferences in sound shadows is a chance to explore the potential for auditory re-creations as performance and a felt sense of bodies remanifested in space, through sound.
