"Evening Silhouettes" is a piece written as part of @travel_with_a_tune, an Instagram summer project I created that involves collecting a series of travel-related videos from people around the world and scoring them with original music - in a time where travelling is restricted. 

One of the most beautiful clips in the series was a blazing sunset filmed by Natasha Sutanto as she drove down the Indonesian city of Surabaya while local songs played from inside the car. The inclusion of human voices in my score felt like the most natural thing to do. 

I fell in love with Pianobook's Micah's Choir which captures the human singing voice with a unique sense of rawness. The various level of "aches" (controlled by modulation) carries an intimate yet exceedingly expressive quality which I hope will shine through my music.

"Shape of a Mountain" is a piece written as part of @travel_with_a_tune, an Instagram summer project I created that involves collecting a series of travel-related videos from people around the world and scoring them with original music - in a time where travelling is restricted.

The clip that inspired this track was captured from inside a moving cable car lining the side of a mountain in Zakopane, Poland.

The piece starts and ends with Ambient Guitar Tremors from Pianobook - a library I adore for its intimate, subtle, yet dynamic and "close to the ear" quality.
