I wrote this while living in Chicago in 2007. It's based on an old Fred Pratt Green hymn titled, "Here, Master, in This Quiet Place". While the melody changed, along with some of the lyrics, most of the lyrics remain. This acoustic version was recorded in 2013 by Jonathan Jerez, a longtime friend who writes with his wife Sarah.
