Ceață is a DJ duo from Aachen/Germany playing different styles of techno and electronic music

This project consists of different approaches targeting the same kind of experience. One side of the project is my Live set in clubs, that is driven by hypnotic, psychedelic and dark sounds, always trying to experiment within the frame work of a fast Techno driven structure.  The other Side is my exploration in a more experimental area of music in which I’m not bound to any specific genres or structure. Both nurture each other. Both I need to function and grow.

Marta Bala develops audiovisual experiences in the fields of video design, live visuals and post production. In a graceful, delicate manner, she uses media to create atmospheres and moods, pursuing an approach of holistic sensuality.  
She combines different aesthetic worlds in an imaginative way to a comprehensive artwork. 

Her inspiration comes mainly from nature and the confrontation with the shapes, colors and sensations that kept her childhood in the countryside ready: each project is a journey for Marta with the aim to create an appealing and sophisticated production.

With a musical background - basic education, piano, flute, choir - sound design and music had always an outstanding role in her life. She came to Berlin in 2006 to work for MTV and never left. 
Some years later she discovered a completely new world through vinyl. After having spent hundreds of days and nights in front of her computer workstation she experienced by chance the healing energy of playing a record far away from the digital world.
Vinyl is her medium. Music gets a tangible body. 
As she’s not a DJ but a storyteller there has never been perfection standing in the foreground but emotion. In a range from fieldrecording via ambient to Acid House and Techno you can expect the unexpected.

Hybral is a non-binary DJ and producer who is drawn to everything that’s dark: eerie drones, industrial techno, rhythmic noise, haunting sounds, trembling textures and dystopian atmospheres - ranging from contemplative cinematic ambient to rough, fast and uncompromising hard techno - capturing feelings of anger, anxiety, chaos, fear, tension, desire and pain.  

They are also founder of the queer label and event series SUBVERTED that is focusing on dark industrial techno with noise, drone, EBM, and hypnotic influences.

Hybral is releasing on labels like Sacred Court, Noise Manifesto, SUBVERTED, The Brvtalist, Vast Perception, Gegen and Pure Hate 000. 
Their tracks are being continuously supported by Paula Temple, SNTS, Swarm Intelligence, Tommy Four Seven, Tham and more.

MEDEUS is a project that combines dark hypnotic techno with the inclusion of industrial, drone and dark ambient. Pulsating waves of cold metallic sounds spill around the meditative whirlpools of kick drums, percussion, and blooming organic sound design reminiscent of our natural environments. This industrial-minded audio ritual draws its listeners into a funnel of synthesized, sounds, taking them on a journey through the textures of the subconscious in their own minds and dreams. Listeners will be pulled into a dark and hypnotic abyss that only invites them to dive further down into the depths of their cognitive thought processes, memories, emotions and experiences.

We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring mostly non-binary and trans DJs. Our aim is to platform artists with gender identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is at the very essence of SUBVERTED. We stand in resistance to the homogenisation and sanitisation to which the techno industry has been subjected in recent years via formulaic, easily-digested productions and repetitive line-ups, and intend to continue opening the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.
