Did something subtle change right here? I keep replaying this spot - it sounds like the sound suddenly just grew a couple of inches bigger!

I feel like there is a strong bassline back there lurking that refuses to quite come out!

This is actually quite pretty.... it feels like there is some reward for patience.... that's all I ask from any ambient or unconventional track :)

EH, there's the problem with using samples... it just doesn't hold up right away. By itself that dragging scratch sound is fantastic, but the moment you pitch it...errgh.

I appreciate your process, with live playing and no editing. I sometimes experiment with that myself - I once even invented an evolving "parametric machine" devouring undesireable eq frequencies for a five minute track this way. And there are some cool synergy effects when these five patches clash. I get a Harold Budd/Abandoned Cities/Dark Star vibe. To my mind, this track projects a feeling of desperation and dystopia. But overall there is no real direction, not enough development to get to wherever it is you're going, at least the way I hear it. Don't get me wrong, I like ambiguity and room for interpretation, but, as a listener I sort of feel that you're giving me too little to hold on to here. If that makes any sense. Maybe you just caught me on the wrong day - I'm sure other listeners feel differently.

OK, the last paragraph of your description made me chuckle aloud :-)

took me a while to appreciate it, but it grew on me and I've ended up enjoying the ambient trip :)

I like the darkness this track had without it being just low-endy.  I do think a little more variation would've helped deepen that mood but it worked well even without that.

This song was created using #108  Diodow by HrastProgrammer
       Imagin,Slowbit Green,Syncmed,Angel Pad and Cas Organ were the only presets I used. 
       A graphic eqalizer was used on every track including master track, and I used a stereo chorus on the master track. Thats it no more effects were used in creating or mastering the song, 
       5 tracks were used and they were played with a midi controller each track is played straight through no editing was done.

This was a tough synth to work with but with all the help I got from the fine people in the OSC forum, I think it turned out better than most of the things I've done!

Thanks Especially to Peter : H, TheNeverScene, Doctor Bob, ans Schiing for the help with my drum sounds which are WAY better now than they were when I posted my first draft. Good luck to everybody - this has been so much fun! :)

Here's my entry for the OSC 10 Year Anniversary! After initializing 5 or 6 projects with various commercial synths, Krakli Plugins' free synth YAVA4 was ultimately the one to inspire my muse. So thanks to Ian Webster for a fun synth that sounds brilliant! 

I can warmly recommend this synth for bird song, orchestral textures, electric guitars and synthwave. Probably for everything else you throw at it, too! :)

Ein neuer Synth von Fullbucket, der Tricent MK III. 
Um es gleich vorweg zu nehmen: fantastisch! Björn hat mal wieder einen super Synth erstellt, Exzellent!

Der Synth
- simuliert einen den Korg Trident MK III mit allen Spielerein und weiteren Extras die von Björn aufgenommen worden sind.
- die Bedienung ist intuitiv,
- die Filter sind ... sauschnell :)
- soundmässig ist der Synth grossartig, sehr saubere Klänge die damit erstellt werden können
- der CPU-Hunger ist minimal, gerade zu lächerlich ... Hut ab vor der tollen Programmierung!

Was eigentlich mit einem Demotrack für ein paar Sounds begann ist doch zu einem vollen Musikstück geworden. Die Presets selber sind von mir von Grund auf erstellt worden. Ich gebe sie Björn zur exklusiven Veröffentlichung auf seiner Webpage https://www.fullbucket.de/music/tricent.html

A new synth from Fullbucket, the Tricent MK III.
To start with: fantastic! Björn has created a great synth again, excellent!

The synth
- simulates the Korg Trident MK III with all players and other extras that have been recorded by Björn.
- the operation is intuitive,
- the filters are ... super fast :)
- In terms of sound, the synth is great, very clean sounds that can be created with
- CPU hunger is minimal, just too ridiculous ... Hats off to great programming!

What actually started with a demo track for a few sounds has now become a full piece of music.
