Wanky DJ story incoming…. 
This photo was taken in a club I played at in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With little to no info from the promoters prior to the gig, I was only told to be there at 3 a.m., so I was feeling a bit apprehensive about the whole thing and had no idea about their music policy—apart from what my sister and her friends, who were regulars at the time, told me: that it always turns into a house thing early in the morning.

So I take control at 4 a.m. It’s no mean feat playing the graveyard shift in a club at that time, especially when you arrive and the DJ before you is blasting 140 BPM “stab-yer-granny” techno and you don’t have many records that go past 125! Anyway, the night turned out to be a blinder once I got over the anxiety of mixing my first tune, and even my mum and dad stayed out till that time to hear me play! 😅 #coolstorybro

Anyway… this set is inspired by a recent night out dancing in Manchester at the Hacienda night at the Warehouse Project. All of these tunes are 20+ years old—and to me, they still sound as fresh as ever. ❤️ Timeless music.
