Made as part of the Disquiet Junto Project 0511: Freeze Tag
To Record a new piece of music based on your consideration of freezing (and thawing). I clearly went with the thawing.
The two panned high synth parts recoded using norns ‘fall’ program. Detuning delay added in bitwig. Drone parts using one of the norns drone apps (can’t recall which one).

Disquiet Junto Project 0515: Talking Cure. The Assignment: Write music for a psychotherapist’s waiting room.

Dr. Bellows does not have a waiting room, instead patients walk a roughly long way in dark corridors, accompanied by presumably non-violent music. Afterwards, many usually feel like talking.  Some, however, prefer to stay in the corridors…

The originally intended track title was "keep calm", so I started with Gongs and euclidian rhythms. I felt the Gongs to be too percussive and a lot of work went into softening the percussive character. My wife listened to the music and found it dark (I do not, I really enjoy this). So maybe this is some kind of sinister psychotherapist …

This is such an interesting project by Wilfried Hanrath(W:I:L), who combined 2 songs from a collection of Collaborations That i did with .spinthedrum(Ava) some time ago. Wilfried Added synth and Bass and frankly i don't know what else to this "NEW" song. This is Wilfried's Third song in his interpretations  of the .spinthedrum series, and once again i am blown away and honored by his efforts and am proud to present His latest masterpiece..

Pete Swinton is a half Hungarian, half Polish man born in London, UK in 1961. Between 1988 and 2003 he lived in Portugal. Since 2015 he lives in Jawa, Indonesia. He began playing guitar in the '70s. He started playing keyboards in the 2000s. He makes Ambient and Experimental music. And a cross between the 2 which he calls Insanbient music. He was using the name Srigala but has now stopped. (To hear the music as accurately as it was recorded and mixed the use of headphones is strongly recommended)
