You will never be forgotten Rick May. It’s hard for even accept the loss of such a talented, charismatic, and wonderful man. Ever since I began playing TF2, I have loved each of the characters and the voice actors behind each class. Rick’s class was special to me just like the rest of the mercenaries. As I’m writing this I’m crying because of how great of a loss this is to me. I wish I had the privilege to have know Rick personally during his lifetime because I’m sure he was an absolutely fantastic person to be around and brightened up every place he went. He was a beloved husband to his wife Diana and an amazing friend. He always enjoyed his recording sessions that he did for Team Fortress 2 as well as other games he worked on. It’s so incredibly saddening that a man with so much character has their life taken from them too early. Rick May was an inspirational figure for me and a role model. I’ve considered becoming a voice actor on multiple occasions and seeing Rick’s work gave me determination and made me believe in myself. My friend and I even learned how to do his Soldier voice. I will never forget you Rick May. You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. You were so loved by so many people and you deserved every bit of it. Your legacy will live on forever. God bless your soul Rick May and may you Rest In Peace. “You were good son, real good; maybe even the best.” - Rick May as The Soldier from Team Fortress 2.
