"Chris Cargo started his production career in the late 1990s, and has been at the forefront within the electronic music scene ever since. 
He is best known for his Progressive , Deep and Melodic House vibes.
During the late nineties and noughties Chris released a wealth of gems on seminal Progressive House labels: Mara’s ‘Choo Choo’, Renaissance, Automatic Records, Whoop, Armada Music and Kosmo not to mention an original artist album.
Chris has always gained consistent support for his many varied club releases from DJ giants such as Digweed, Cox, Cattaneo, Howells, Lawler, Warren and Garnier etc.

He is a multi talented DJ and producer who has regularly been on tour with Renaissance, Smirnoff, Tennents, Kent Tobacco and the like, many of which have seen Chris ply his wares on several large scale tours around China, USA, Russia and South America.

As a DJ, Chris has travelled the world wowing the crowds in Shanghai to Zurich, Amsterdam to Moscow, Kuala Lumpur to Paris docking in over 60 countries along the way including Siberia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Finland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, China, Mexico.

In addition, his music has appeared on many compilations such as Renaissance, Intec, Seb Fontaine,Danny Howells, Valentino Kanzyani, Anthony Pappa, Slinky, Priviledge-Ibiza, Global Underground and has had major BBC Radio 1 plays and multiple reviews in publications such as Mixmag & DJ Magazine."

This time Anthony Linell cuts his peerless supply four ways in four tracks. Short on hubris, and economical to the point of being cruel, 'Core Field Horizon' relents in all the right places to make the effects of its peaks and troughs impossible to defend against. The opening track is a deluge. Spinning on its hydro-blasted synth line, the gravitational pull erases and ensnares in equal disordering measure. On its heel is the EP's title track, an austere display of the venom in the seam between his club-focused work and his experimental output. 'Evaporating Entities' is one of Linell's most diaphanous works to date, and after weaving through the sky we are abruptly subjected to the gravity of the closing track's nerves.

PREMIERE: Nicola Brusegan - Insomnia

Edd is the protagonist of APDEXTRA009 out next May in digital only. His four track EP called ‘Fock Quarantine’ is a nice musical surprise and, by the title, we want to think of it as an auspicious release, in every sense! The 19 years old DJ and producer from Malta debuts on our Extra catalogue with a work composed by solid Disco/House tracks with some slow-cooked heavy basslines. The opening and title track relies on a strong rhythm section with some dreamy melodic keys and warm pads while the following ‘A Trip’ is a groovy loop with a smooth saxophone accompanying the beat and sexy vocal samples popping up far and near along the track. With ‘Stewie the Bpm increases and with it the heartbeat of everyone who’ll dance to it on the dancefloor. The closing track is ‘Last Saturday’ and starts with a long broken intro leading to a heavy 4/4 kick, pulsing pads and and evolving harmonies. This EP by the newcomer @Eddmlt is surely one of the best revelations of this quarantine and will help us all going through it.

Opening track Momentum is a deep, tribal work. The incredible drive of tom drums spans throughout its 8-minute arrangement. There’s beautiful detail in every aspect of the track and the harmonies of the lead-pad make it a contender for being one of the big tunes of this years summer. Orchids Rapture, the second track of the EP, sounds more robust. It's a darker club record with a repetitive, sharp lead synth. The closing/title track Paradise Drum completes the EP. Here, Sam Goku goes wild on percussions. The breakbeat driven arrangement is topped off with a beautiful B-part that showcases compelling synth work.

Sam Goku’s real name is Robin Wang. He is based in Munich and his upbringing was Chinese for the most part. His parents moved to Germany in the early 90’s. Growing up with two different cultures, and mentalities, it’s those two contrasting influences we can hear back in the music. “I often talk to people who, respectively, don’t understand the other side and talk badly about other customs and traditions. I’d love to bring to people the understanding, that behind the differences in behaviors and measures, there are often similar, if not the same, emotions and motivations. I believe we need to nurture our culture of understanding. Since I am not a political person, I try to transmit this modest message through my music.”

Sam Goku - Momentum

Sitting all alone in his room he paced up and down looking for a release from his own troubled and chaotic mind. Outside he could hear the sirens and the traffic which echoed in a city which buzzed with people like flies and wild creatures. This didn't feel like home but at least he had something here which might help him to process his strange and obscene surroundings. Music therapy had always been his way out, every time he'd felt lost, afraid or alone he'd found solace and peace in the beauty and delicacy of an instrument. The noises it created were like soothing tones which played upon his emotions like a wonderful chime. 

Vincent Floyd is a producer of which we are sure you are familiar, if you aren't then there's something wrong. A house music innovator and a pioneer, he hasn't lost his way. This much is clear on a new EP for the recently launched Italian label NICEPEOPLE.
