Steve has been listening to electronic music since the 1990's - sucked in by the hard sounds of early rave, and the euphoric sounds of trance. These sounds still permeate through on the tracks he selects and listens to today.

As a resident of Ottawa Prog Vibes based in Ottawa, Canada, Steve has played at several of the city’s best venues and shared the decks with some of the world’s finest Progressive House DJs and producers.

There are phases in healing, and some are unpleasant. I'm finding as my anxiety goes down, and my self image slightly improves, and maybe due to the season, I am feeling grief and anger. Grief for what was lost or taken, and anger at those who were responsible. The saddest thing is projecting theses emotions on people who love and support us. It amplifies the grief and turns the angry inwards on ourselves. It's best not to deny grief and anger, but process them and move on. There is hope (I hope).

Having already the idea in mind to be a booker of DJ's, since Witte already arranged from time-to-time certain DJ friends to play at parties, he took the opportunity and said 'Yes!'. Because Witte is known by his love for guacamole and recognised by his laugh, the name and tagline was easily decided and the company “Guacamole Bookings” based in Antwerp was born.
