I sit on my porch watching the cars roll by
thinkin' about you, and the last time that we said goodbye.
When will I see you again?
I want to discover if this is real or pretend.
Either way, my darling, I feel like I've been blessed
for our stars to align amidst all of the mess
that we've made of our lives. Perhaps, now, for the best.
Not only satisfied, you make me strive to be my best.
