A demonstration of a SoundFont I created, featuring a Casio Privia sampled on cassette and converted to digital.   All 88 keys were recorded so the sound of the tape motor would be consistent throughout the voice.

This piano sound was meant to mimic the famous Mellotron by having analog tape as the sample medium for each key.

That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine

In 2003, over the Thanksgiving holiday, Cornelius and Kalaab Pickering came together with some guitars, a synthesizer, and a computer to lay down some original tracks Neil had written.  The result was a mellow, groovy mix of folk, blues, and songwriting.  These recordings are being released for the first time ever, 21 years after their original recording.

A track I created after hearing about the shortwave station UVB76, which broadcasts from western Russia.  Nobody knows what the characteristic buzzing is that occurs night and day on UVB76, but some speculate that it's a holdover from the Cold War that might have triggered a nuclear retaliation if it had ever stopped broadcasting.  This track is a psychedelic imagining of that concept.
