Majid Kakka & the Bells Band Live in Toronto Canada April 7, 1996

Majid Kakka is an Iraqi American singer, musician, and composer. Following his lifelong dream of becoming a musician has led Majid Kakka to the top of the list of Chaldean performers both in the United States and Iraq. 

From an early age, his love for music motivated him to push forward regardless of the challenges he faced. He made his way to the former Yugoslavia where he attended the Gloseina Shola. By the age of 18, he graduated and has mastered the classical guitar. Upon graduating, his passion only grew, compelling him to travel across Europe to further his musical knowledge. 

In 1993, Majid gained recognition throughout Iraq and the US as his song "Tair El Saad" was a number one hit on Iraqi National TV for an entire year. Even with a fast rise to fame, Majid never forgot where he came from. Kakka currently resides in the Metro Detroit Area in the US.
