With influences from the ‘90s European techno, the sound of the Detroit’s pioneers and with a significant dose from the modern electronic music scene, Endlec delivers records that doesn’t hold anything back, characterized by a sound that is raw, furious, full of unceasing energy and with no compromise at all. Constantly searching for groove and funk in his productions, no matter how hard the tracks are and as a dj he is known for his fast cuts, quick and raw mixing.

@Jaszaloth is a young, upcoming artist from Leipzig (Germany).
Her sound is mainly characterized by hard, distortioned sounds in a mixture of fast Techno and old-school Schranz. Thereby a set of her resembles a ride on the razor blade. The thundering basses and sharp hats leave hardly any room for cheerfulness. Dark, hard, loud. This is not a random Techno set, this is a statement!

Disruptor 058 is brought to you by LEY MAR, a new wave Techno artist based in Rennes, France, he has releases on Falsive Records, SCTR and Fluctuat Records. We asked him a couple of questions.

JADED: How would you describe your sound?

LEY MARr: If I had to describe my way of djing, I would say that I love to mix different styles (acid,rave,dark,industrial...), I always like to start with nostalgic sounds, and always evolve throughout a set.

In regards to my productions, I'm influenced by different styles such as gabber, doomcore (fifth era) and techno ( r label, saike, molekul). Sounds that are nostalgic but also catchy, I always try to tell a story through my music.


JADED: What impact do you think the the necessary enforced pause on club culture will have on music production creativity and the electronic music movement on a whole?

LEY MAR: The break has definitely had an impact on producers, due to the fact that music is a way in which we choose to express ourselves. Personally,  i started to produce in January 2020 and i have just recently finish my studies, so I took advantage of all the extra time to produce, and learn new things, like piano lesson for example.  Even if the evenings are at a standstill, you can see that things are being done, such as virtual events, releases etc. I would say the "positive" part of this break is that it allows us to see that the movement is always present, even without parties being held, and that we are all fully motivate to be back.

KILL YOUR IDOLS has been Djing since he first heard hardcore music at a friends house where their parents had some technics 1210s and they had a dj over, he was fasinated at 11 years old. From then i borrowed rave tapes from the Rezerection and other big rave events and he was hooked. He got his first paid of record decks for his 13th birthday playing hardcore and happy hardcore and spanish makina. He Djed in clubs from 15 years old ranging from 90s trance/german trance and then raves on and off for the next 20 years. He has been producing music for around  10 years along side my job but have never taken it seriously. The Kill Your Idols Project comes from the meaning stop copying your idols when creating music, be unique and be yourself.
 
He produces and play hard industrial techno, Hard Trance Rave Techno.
