Whiskey Flats was born out of a band of friends in the 1980s, and reformed in 2016. If you love classic rock, you'll love Whiskey Flats. Some are confused by the name of the band, which may lead one to think we're a blue grass or folk band. Nothing could be further from the truth. We hail from a small town in Oregon called Cascade Locks. The town used to be named Whiskey Flats back in the late 1800's, when the the town was a portage to circumvent rapids in the Columbia River. The character of the town matched the town name during that rough time. Hence the name of the band. We hope you enjoy! :-)
