Inside the social club is a secret club of half-heard confessions, bird noise, glitch-mirrors, electric vines, and drones that float and spiral.

Friday-night field recording from the women's/femmes' room of the Orange County Social Club in Carrboro, NC, augmented by electronics and dreams.

Nobody Home  (disquiet0591)

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0611 and was created with the intention to leave the impression that the music is listening to itself: After some considerations the music is repeating itself, like somebody who is whistling a short tune he has heard on the radio. In this case this are just some notes played by different classical instruments.

The title is inspired by the concept of spontaneous combustion featuring in the TV series "X Files".

This is my musical response to the haiku by Zhang Zhihe:

slanting rain,
gentle breeze,
no need to return home

This piece is dedicated to my friend Fernando who can not travel home this year.
