For the "The Long Detail" prompt, I took a segment from a previous piece I named "Sevensevenseven" from the Disquiet0404 challenge, and turned it into an interpretation of waves on an ocean beach, hence the name.  The segment was no more than 10 seconds in length but I multiplied it and registered some of the units, stacked and rhythmically panned them, added some reverb and spiced it up with an Output app called Portal.

It’s a good day too.

A wandering poet and ascetic Zen priest, Santōka was a disciple of Ogiwara Seisensui, one of the first poets to discard the traditional use of the 5-7-5 structure in haiku.

Santōka’s poetry emphasizes the necessity of sabi (solitude) in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment and serenity.

I used the wonderful track Marsh Bones by Raincat - many thanks! - and added a right channel to it. Some of it is 56 BPM. My addition consists of alto recorder (a.k.a Altflöte), bells, industrial noises from a factory and a synth note (C1).
