Nobody Home  (disquiet0591)

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0611 and was created with the intention to leave the impression that the music is listening to itself: After some considerations the music is repeating itself, like somebody who is whistling a short tune he has heard on the radio. In this case this are just some notes played by different classical instruments.

The title is inspired by the concept of spontaneous combustion featuring in the TV series "X Files".

Spontaneous Selfinspiration  (Disquiet0611)

For the Marquee Ghosts challenge, I tried to recreate the atmosphere of an old cinema using recordings of an old film projector and an empty hall.  Both samples are pulled together in Supercollider where they were looped and played at different rates.  The deep concussions are the product of super slow playback of single clicks from the projector.  The samples were remixed in Ableton Live 10.
