Afrika Connexions: Writing Restistance Afro-Palestinian Solidarity Poetics

An oratorio, first performed in Bergen, Norway, the opening event of the Bergen International Festival, by Hanna Husáhr, Wimme Saari, Manickam Yogeswaran, Thandi Swaartbooi, Njabulo Madlala, Reem Kelani, a huge chorus of local people, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and a small band: Nils Økland, Ole André Farstad, Stein Urheim, Anders Bitustøyl, Snorre Bjerck. Conducted by Clark Rundell. Directed by Olivia Fuchs. Commissioned by Bergen National Opera.
