This is a workshop recording of an extended techniques composition. I composed this piece to re-create the sounds from within nature, specifically the beautiful sounds of the wind and water that I heard at Clashnessie. I really enjoyed writing this piece and I am very much interested in writing more pieces based on the world around me.

Wrote this a few years back thought I would have a go at recording it at home to see if I could.

Rainy Afternoon

This piece is based on the sculpture by Grace Jones named "Roped In". I was given the impression of the sculptures being imprisoned and I decided to use this to create a piece that discusses the relationship between sorrow and vengefulness.

This piece is based on the painting by Grace Jones named "Drip". With the use of voice recordings, Trumpet, Synth and a Vaccum Cleaner; I was able to cretae the dreamy hypnotic effect.

This piece my collaborator and I worked alongside each other, both influencing each other's work. Our shared inspiration for this piece was the word "Assertive". I decided to discuss the relationship between the expectations of women and how assertive women have been frowned upon. 
This was a really interesting piece to and it was wonderful to see the creative process of another artist and how they make their decisions.
