This work stems from a longstanding passion for Yiddish and Rom music, and wishes to be an homage to two populations who, with their culture and traditions, have composed music and songs that we still appreciate today for the beauty of their melodies, evocative harmonies, enthralling rhythms and the heart with which they are interpreted. 
The Jews, Rom and Sinti have always been wandering people, against their will, and their music is the result of an exchange between their cultures and those of the country where they find themselves living. 
The title – meant to be ironic – is actually a heartfelt thanks addressed to those who have given us such beautiful songs; to Nico, who wanted to celebrate the values of the Resistance in the Romani language with Sa i rat kelassa; to Teo, who shared a part of our musical journey with us, concluding it with this project.
We hope, also thanks to our arrangements, to have made a proper tribute to these people and that this work will bring a welcome feeling to the listener.
