This track describes the feeling which I had after a long summer with a lot of (daytime) work, playing/attending festivals and - last but not least - making some new music. Each is great on it's own, but at that time it felt as it was too much to do without enough time to spend with my friends, my family and enjoying nature/doing sports. It felt like riding an endless rollercoaster - funny in the beginning, but the more rounds it took the more I liked it to stop :)

Water can be the most fun to play in or a burden to keep your head above.
You could get lost on the open sea or be let by a river.
There are calm and troubled times.
It connects and devides.
No matter what, water is life.
And can be a threat to it.

Once again we are happy to release a long awaited collaboration from two of our darest musicians. The fusion of @judith-ahrends  unique tiptoe groove and dreamlike vocals with @oilst deep vibes gave us chills from the first drafts. Two synthie wizards in unity.
The remix duties were distributed to amazing @dangerrrave, @deisenmusic, @malikfaquir, @ohxala and @isaacsoto.

This EP is a perfect example how music knows no limits as it connects musicians from Mexico, Portugal, Mozambique, North America, Switzerland and Germany.

After he was already represented on our last compilation and is also involved in some current remix projects with us, we are particularly pleased to be able to present Sydka's new EP on our label today, which has the catchy title "Snakes and Ladders".

The saying Snakes and Ladders refers to situations in which people or events appear to go forward and backward, seemingly at random. Everyone can relate to this feeling and knows that life can sometimes feel like an endless loop of recurring experiences. It is all the more important to switch off your head from time to time and simply go with the flow of the moment.

Sydka's EP provides the perfect soundtrack for this vibe. The two originals, which come with his unmistakably groovy and detailed sound, are rounded off by three diverse remixes by Glenn Shaw, Flave and Kon Faber, which all give the original a unique twist.

We are very happy that the EP has finally seen the light of day and want to thank all the artists involved for their great work, as well as Haunted Water for the smooth mastering and Kilian Van de Water for the harmonious artwork.

We are mystical, transcendental, wonderful beings. Not just us human beings, but everyone, even the tiniest insect, the goldsmith, the mosquito, the little fly. Every moment in every sentient being’s life is simply amazing. This amazing mystery is the very core, the very heart, of the real tantra of experienced life. It has nothing to do with being a Buddhist or a tantric practitioner, but the tantric teachings explains this so clearly: how reality is for everyone, for you, me and for all other sentient beings.

Tantra is in the present moment, in the soft kiss of experience. Here the unity of space and knowingness are indivisible. It is here, in the center of our natural mandala, that we acknowledge this.

We would like to thank all the artists who gave birth to the O'mnipresencia project and who contributed with amazing musical interpretation and inspiration, shaping it's essence with spirit of a mystical transcendental journey.
