"The Way that can be spoken, is not the The Way
That which is named, cannot be named.

Before the beginning all was nameless.
Naming came after the beginning and so
began the manifestation into 10000 things.

When there is no desire one can see the mystery,
But when desiring one only sees the manifestation.

Beyond the bridge of naming and experience flows The Way
towards the real world of what is, and true understanding."

Verse 2 : Duplicity

The world is full of dualities because of opposing terms.
Beauty exists because of the Ugly, When there is Good, Evil is also there.

So the teacher lives openly with both side of a coin.
The teacher acts without force, teaches with  silent
Cares for all without attachment,
Works, not for reward or results

When the work is done... it will last forever.

Verse 3 : Contentment

Over praising the extremely gifted leads to discontentment
Over valuing material things invites stealing and lies.
When you crave, you want what you don't have and contentment is lost.

The Teacher will desire without wanting
and acts without excess

By not doing, all will be done.

Verse 4 : Endlessness

The Way is nothing, yet endless
and was there before the beginning.

It can blunt the sharp and untangle any knot

Where was its origin ? It was there before everything.

Verse 5 : Neutral Space

The Way is neutral and treats all equally.
As does the teacher who sees all as straw dogs.

The teacher and the The Way are the same.
There is no favour or disfavour given to anyone or anything.

The space between heaven and earth is infinite
Like bellows, the more it moves, the more it gives, Endless!

We must learn to hold onto the centre,
Listen more, speaking less, being still.
What is, is within.
Be Free (and you will find home)

Verse 6 :  The Valley Spirit

The spirit of life always has been.

In the Valley of life it springs out of nothing,
Pure and enduring, without end.

It is creation itself, bringing all to perfection.
Mysteries within mysteries.

Mother of all. We all come from her.

Verse 7 :   Beyond Self

Heaven lasts forever and nature is complete
Why is because it asks for nothing, yet all is done.

The teacher also does this by being behind.
Yet the teacher end up ahead.  

The teacher endures because all is placed before.

Through selfless living, all you needs are cared for.

The Way is like water that flows downward to lower places.
If nourishes and restores and from there life springs.
This is where we learn harmony and contentment.

So live with the nature of things.
Be still and go deep within.
Live with truthfulness and equality.
Govern with justice and timely order.

Contentment and peace will be yours.

50 Years ago the world rallied as we witnessed the first of our human kind to step onto another heavenly body.  I witnessed as a 7YO boy and it has been etched into my memories since that day

North Creek Rd was born out of a desire of pure creation. No forward planning, just pure inspired design.
Sitting at the piano or guitar with a blank recording session and playing a single chord and seeing what comes next through a feeling of flow, then silence then flow again, again and again, never giving up on that first word, until you get a feeling of completeness and clarity.

I have been a music producer for nearly 2 decades now, mainly working on other people projects.  I wanted to see what it would be like to create in a manner that started from absolutely nothing.  Sometimes it came easy, other time it was hard and frustrating, but instead of me sitting in a seat of judgement as to what people may or may not think about my music, I push that to the side and said, "don't care any more"... I just want whatever was within me to come out in these melodies, chords, grooves and sounds.  I call it "Journey Music".  Its designed to take you somewhere... where is up to you... Its maybe nowhere, but thats also a great place to be!
